About the Course

Welcome to your first English lesson! Learning English is simple and exciting, and we will start with the most important basics: greeting people, introducing yourself, and using daily vocabulary.

Here is your very first beginner lesson.

1. Simple Greetings 👋

When you meet someone, you can use these friendly words:

  • Hello! (Formal and polite)

  • Hi! (Casual and common)

  • Good morning (Use this from sunrise until 12:00 PM)

  • Good afternoon  (Use this from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM)

  • Good evening (Use this after 6:00 PM)

2. Introducing Yourself 👤

To tell someone your name, you can say:

  • "My name is [Your Name]."

  • "I am [Your Name]."

To ask for someone else's name, say:

  • "What is your name?"

When you meet someone for the first time, it is polite to say:

  • "Nice to meet you!"

3. Essential Everyday Words 💬

These basic words will help you in any conversation:

  • Yes / No

  • Please (Use this to be polite when asking for something)

  • Thank you (Use this to show you are happy for someone's help)

  • You're welcome (The polite response after someone says thank you)

  • Excuse me (Use this to get someone's attention gently)

  • Goodbye / Bye! (Say this when you are leaving)
