Once you’ve had your fill of beaches, viewpoints, and other natural landmarks, Chalong Bay Rum Distillery offers a more unique activity on your tour of the island. It is located on the southeast coast of Phuket, just a short drive from Phuket Town. The distillery is famous for its high-quality rum, which it produces using only the best organic sugarcane and traditional distillation methods. Tours are offered every day at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. and last for about half an hour. Guests are provided with a refreshing mojito while they get to see how the rum-crafting process works. The cost is 450 baht per person.
